What working with us means
Structure, neutrality, and a written record — for every session.
The value Millowvale brings is not in what we decide, but in how we hold the space so that families can decide for themselves.

What you can rely on from Millowvale
Complete neutrality
The coordinator holds no position, makes no recommendation, and does not take sides. The space belongs equally to every person present, regardless of who arranged the session.
A written record every time
Every session produces a minute. It is written in neutral language and sent to all participants. There is no ambiguity about what was said, and no need to rely on anyone's memory of the conversation.
Agenda agreed in advance
Before any session begins, an agenda is prepared and agreed by all participants. This sets the ground rules and prevents the meeting from drifting into territory that was not ready to be discussed.
Records stay with the family
Nothing is filed with any authority or shared with anyone outside the session without the family's written direction. At programme close, all material is handed over and Millowvale retains no copy.
Time shared equally
The coordinator keeps time and ensures each participant has equivalent space to speak. No one is talked over, and no one is pushed to speak before they are ready.
Signposted to professionals when needed
Every programme closes with a curated directory of registered practitioners in Penang and Kedah — solicitors, counsellors, financial advisors — so the family knows where to turn if formal guidance is needed.
In more detail
Each benefit, explained
Experience with families in complex situations
Our coordinators have spent years sitting with families navigating shared decisions — estates, caring arrangements, property, and long-standing disagreements about household matters. They understand that the same subject can feel very different to different people in the same room, and they have developed the patience to allow that difference to be expressed without it derailing the session.
- Over six years working with families in Penang and Kedah
- Consistent process refined through repeated use
- Coordinators trained in organisational communication
A clear, repeatable process
The Millowvale session format has been used across many family situations, and the templates and keeping-track sheets have been adjusted based on what families actually find useful between sessions. The process is not theoretical — it was built by doing the work and noticing what was missing.
- Same structure and templates across every programme
- Keeping-track sheet refined through real family use
- Open-items register maintained in consistent neutral language
Clerical precision you can read and refer back to
The Register and Facilitation Retainer produces a bound, indexed pack of the family's own documents — assembled clerically, not interpreted. The digital mirror placed on the family's own storage means the record is accessible without depending on Millowvale for future reference.
- Documents indexed with consistent numbering and dates
- Dated timeline built from what the family already holds
- Digital mirror on the family's chosen storage at handover
Transparent scope and pricing
Prices for all three sessions are published clearly, and the scope of each is described in plain language before any engagement begins. There are no additional charges for the minute, templates, or keeping-track sheets. The practitioner directory at close is included in every programme at no separate cost.
- Listening Session: RM 428 including minute and practitioner directory
- Keeping-Track Programme: RM 1,470 including all templates, minutes, and mid-review
- Register and Facilitation Retainer: RM 3,900 including bound pack and digital mirror
What the family leaves with
After a Millowvale session or programme, the family holds a neutral written record of what was discussed, a register of what was agreed and what remains open, and a directory of registered professionals for any next steps that require formal expertise. That is a tangible outcome, not a process description.
- Written minute from every session
- Open-items register across longer programmes
- Curated professional directory for Penang and Kedah
How we compare
Facilitated sessions versus informal family conversations
| Feature | Informal family discussion | Millowvale session |
|---|---|---|
| Written record produced | Rarely, if at all | Every session |
| Neutral coordinator present | No | Yes — trained, no position taken |
| Agreed agenda before the meeting | Uncommon | Required for every session |
| Equal time allocated to each person | Depends on the dynamic | Managed by coordinator |
| Record stays private, unfiled | Usually | Always — handed over at close |
| Practitioner directory provided | No | Included in every programme |
What sets us apart
Distinctives of the Millowvale approach
We do not offer advice — and that is the point
Most services working with families either give advice (solicitors, counsellors, financial planners) or claim not to and then do anyway. Millowvale does not advise. The coordinator's role is to hold the structure, not to influence the outcome. This makes the space genuinely neutral, which is difficult to find elsewhere.
The reserved call in the Keeping-Track Programme
Within the three-month programme, one call is set aside for the family to use at any point, without waiting for the scheduled session. Families can use it when something shifts unexpectedly between meetings — it keeps the process available at the moment it is needed rather than at the next scheduled date.
A digital mirror on the family's own storage
At the close of the Register and Facilitation Retainer, the assembled documents are mirrored digitally on the family's chosen storage — not ours. Millowvale does not hold copies after handover. The family has complete control of its own record from the moment the programme ends.
A curated directory, not a generic referral
The practitioner directory included at the close of every programme is specific to Penang and Kedah, and it is reviewed and updated regularly. It covers solicitors, counsellors, and financial planners who work with individual families — not large institutional referrals that may not fit a family's actual situation.
